These are some of the best Essentials Oils that  help prevent acne
Manuka Oil has recently been tested against two other organisms, Bacillus subtilis and the dermatophyte
Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Oil distilled from plants collected in the East Cape region of New Zealand showed the
highest antimicrobial activity, while the Australian oil showed no activity against these organisms. In clinical trials,
manuka oil from New Zealand has proved effective against athlete's foot, ringworm, acne, thrush, and some
antibiotic-resistant organisms, possibly due to it high level of leptospermone. This is a pleasant smelling oil, with a
wider range of active compounds, that are mildly anaesthetic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal -
perfect for the treatment of spots and blemishes. The low density of the oil means that it is carried deeply and rapidly
into the skin. Use it for the treatment of acne, cold sores and other skin complaints.

The Manuka oil penetrates the blocked follicle, kills the bacteria and helps to unblock the follicle allowing the built up
infection to be released, leaving a sterile clear follicle which heals quickly, reducing or eliminating scarring.
Manuka Oil
Tea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil - A natural antibacterial and antifungal solution derived from the leaves of the Melaleuca tree or Tea Tree
plant. This natural ingredient will help fight existing acne and prevent future breakouts. Tea Tree Oil is one of the most
popular herbal extracts used to treat and eliminate acne, and for good reason… it has helped thousands of acne
sufferers. Tea tree oil is extracted and concentrated by steaming the leaves of a melaleuca tree and then collecting the
oil the leaves give off into a concentrate.

Tea tree oil has seen a large revival over the past 20 years, in part because it is more effective in killing certain
bacteria than popular antibiotics (including penicillin). Studies have been done with Staph bacterial infections on the
skin, and found that tea tree oil was more effective in killing the infection than methicillin and vancomycin.
One study in particular was conducted to compare the acne bacteria fighting properties of a tree oil in comparison with
benzoyl peroxide cream. The tea tree oil was comparable in effectiveness to the benzoyl peroxide, but without the side
effects of dry skin and redness.

All it takes is a drop of Melaleuca Alternifolia tea tree oil 2-3 times a day on the acne inflammation, and it will start
working to kill the bacteria.

So, for those of you who like what benzoyl peroxide does to acne but don’t like the side effects, tea tree oil may be the
right alternative for you.

aid in keeping the skin smooth and supple.

oily and dry skin. Geranium skin preparations are gently astringent, opening pores and clearing oily
complexionsGeranium oil helps almost any skin type or skin condition. Its stimulating action promotes the

Lavender Essential Oil
Lavender Oil is Indigenous to the mountain zones of the Mediterranean, lavender thrives in stony habitats that have
access to lots of sunlight. Lavender can be found growing in the wild throughout southern Europe. Lavender is actually
a shrub with heavy branches that grows up to about 60 cm. Wood-like branches grow from the broad rootstock and
green leaf-like shoots resembling rods protrude out from the branches. The narrow, grayish green leaves covered in a
silver blanket-like substance taper down from the base. The leaves are oblong in shape and attach directly at the base
in curled spiral-like patterns. Herbalists have also used lavender oil to treat skin ailments including fungal infections,
burns, wounds, eczema, and even acne.
Lavender does an excellent job at balancing oil production in the skin as well as clearing blemishes and evening skin
tone. It is indicated for all skin types and even helps to hydrate dry skin. Lavender can be used at any step in your skin
care regimen. Clary-Sage  is another great oil for acne and it also does a wonderful job with wrinkles and fine lines as
well. Chamomile oil is a great for acne and skin infections in general. It is a powerful antibacterial and anti fungal
agent.
Essential Oil of Lavender does an excellent Job!!!
Acne is a skin disease, or skin rash, that is usually associated with teenagers, but it is very common among adults as
well.  The truth about acne problems is that people are too concerned with
curing it, when the actual solution is more
about prevention, rather than a cure.
To prevent and cure your acne, start a daily routine designed with the complete health of your skin in mind.
People that suffer with acne all their life would be surprised that they may have created their problem by using skin
care products containing chemicals. A typical example is the regular soap that you have used since childhood on your
body, hands and hair. Remember, all those cleansers are made with harsh detergents and in time can create
allergic, sensitive reactions and persistent acne condition.

To prevent  acne problems never use facial products that have chemicals such as fragrance and/or minerals oils.

To cure an acne problem your skin needs time to heal itself and breathe. By using natural acne products your skin will
quickly rejuvenate and you will see your complexion improve.
